The Intercollegiate Vietnamese Student Association of New England (NEIVSA) is pleased to declare this year’s Vietnamese-American Dreams Scholarship open to applicants. Since 2001, NEIVSA has awarded scholarships to aspiring Vietnamese-American students. All scholarship funds come from year-round fundraising efforts sponsored by NEIVSA and the Vietnamese-American Community of Massachusetts. This is one of our ways of giving back to the Vietnamese-American community and promoting future leadership in the community. We seek to empower young Vietnamese-Americans to attend college and pursue their dreams.

Applicants will be judged according to their merits in academics, community involvement, leadership, and character. We strongly encourage ALL eligible Vietnamese-American youths to apply. Selection will be conducted by a panel of college students in NEIVSA.

Finalists will be contacted for interviews, which will take place over Google Hangouts in March 2018. The winners will be announced at NEIVSA's annual End of the Year Gala in early May. Please note that the winners will be required to provide proof of enrollment  at their selected colleges and are encouraged to participate in their college VSA, NEIVSA, and/or the Vietnamese Community of Massachusetts upon receiving the Vietnamese American Dreams Scholarship.

Any high school senior in New England who is of Vietnamese descent and currently applying to college.

Two (2) $1000 scholarships and two (2) $500 scholarships will be awarded.
